The weather in and around Kalkan during the summer season is mosty dry and hot:
* NB the maximum day-time temperature can reach in exess of 40°C in July and August. Through the season the sea temperature warms up from an April minimum of around 17° C to a mid-summer 26° C, comfortable for snorkelling or lazing in the sea. From November until April there is still a lot of sunshine and the maximum daytime temperature is rarely below 15° C, although the temperature can drop noticeably in the evenings and nights. Long periods of rain are unusual, although it will rain at some time every few of days.
